The Mostly Sunny farm is located in beautiful Dalton Gardens,Idaho. We are a family business that is dedicated to providing beautiful, delicious, and pesticide-free vegetables to our local community. We take pride in the fact that our vegetables go from harvest to market within two days to ensure a quality product. Come visit Mostly Sunny at the Kootenai County Farmer's Market (at the corner of Highway 95 and Prairie Ave)each Saturday from 8am to 1pm from May through October.

About Me

Susan (aka Sunny): I grew up in Dalton Gardens, Idaho where both sets of my grandparents homesteaded. Back then it was rural living. Everyone had farm animals to tend to and of course a garden. This is where my love for gardening began. Our family would spend countless hours tending the garden, harvesting and canning. As us kids moved out and started our own families my parents decided they no longer needed such a large garden. In fact, each year it grew smaller until finally there was no garden. A couple years ago we were devasted to learn my mom had brain cancer. The family garden was created in her honor...mom always loved to see the entire family out working together in the garden and I know watching the garden grow made her happy and it brought back fond memories for all of us. We all miss her dearly....I know she is watching over our family garden and smiling.
